Maxim Power Gel Drink contains 160 ml Gel drink, this is sufficient for 60 minutes of energy and equal to 3 regular energy gels. The Power Gel Drink delivers much less waste than 3 separate energy gels and therefore you can keep the empty pouch closed and without any leaks back into your back pocket to throw it in a trash can later (instead of in the roadside). That is very good for the environment! The pouch is easy to open and drinking is easy through the drinking nozzle. It does not have a tear line, which prevents the gel from spraying on your hands, face or steering wheel by opening it.
Maxim Power Gel Drink is a fresh Gel Drink; more effective and less sweet than the regular energy gels. In other words: less sugar and more energy! It is the ideal ready-made solution that provides you with both fast and slow energy for more than 60 minutes. Easy to use and ideally dosed in a handy resealable package. Maxim Power Gel Drink = 3 regular isotonic gels.
It was the conversation of the Giro d'Italia 2017; the acute emergency stop of Tom Dumoulin. Because of intestinal cramps he had to make a sanitary stop. Tom had, in his own words, drunk too little and consumed too much gels (= glucose / sugar), which is why his intestines could no longer process the sugars properly and thus revolted. Thus, you see how important it is to keep drinking enough and to coach your carbohydrate intake well.
